The UNC men's basketball team won 54-44 in Charlottesville for the first game since Feb. 25, 2012. North Carolina (21-6, 13-3) shot 32 percent and UVA 27.6% in this terrible offensive game, but lockdown defense saved them.

Cavaliers don't score much, but Saturday was a huge improvement from UNC's defensive difficulties.

North Carolina reclaimed first position in the ACC on Saturday after Duke lost.
