Revamping for the 2024–25 season: Clippers

The Clippers revealed Monday morning that they will change their look moving into the Intuit Dome next season.

An updated logo, clothes, and court will help the franchise rebrand after 40 years in Los Angeles.

ESPN's Zach Lowe reports that fan polls were outsourced, prompting the rebranding.

. According to insiders, Lowe was met with “outright hostility.”

Team officials considered everything, including a name change, but it failed

The focus groups are advising, not conclusive, said owner Steve Ballmer.

I still listen to them, and to my astonishment, they don't want a name change.

The Clippers will replace their dull logo with a giant “C” with a ship inside it,

a reference to San Diego's clipper ships, which inspired the team's moniker when it moved there in 1978.

The global logo has “Los Angeles Clippers” around the ship in a circle.
