Mariah Carey returns to Las Vegas for the Celebration of Mimi performances.

Mariah Carey revealed on Tuesday that she will return to Las Vegas for a series of performances in April at the Dolby Live at Park MGM. 

Mariah Carey: The Celebration of Mimi Live in Las Vegas will commemorate the 10th anniversary of her studio album "The Emancipation of Mimi."

"The Las Vegas shows will feature fan favorites from that album as well as other hits from her unparalleled illustrious career," according to an announcement from the singer's label.

Carey will play eight gigs on April 12, 13, 17, 19, 20, 24, 26, and 27.

The "All I Want For Christmas Is You" singer has already held several Las Vegas performance residencies

including #1 to Infinity (May 2015 to July 2017) and The Butterfly Returns (July 2018 to February 2020).

"The Emancipation of Mimi," released in April 2005, was a commercial success for Carey and became one of the best-selling albums of the twenty-first century

producing singles such as "It's Like That," "Shake It Off," "We Belong Together," and others

It later appeared on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 best albums of all time.
